HALIFAX – On behalf of Adam Barrett and Terraine Capital, we are pleased to announce the acquisition of RKO Steel Limited.   This acquisition marks the latest in a series of recent additions made by Terraine Capital to integrate with and compliment our existing group of companies, including our steel and aluminum business and group of building supply dealerships.

 

RKO Steel Limited has been serving Canadian, US and international customers with high-grade manufactured steel products, quality coatings and general construction for over 40 years. They were the first in the industry to become ISO 9002 registered and have won the North American Steel Fabricator of the Year Award.  
 

Ian Oulton and RKO have built an outstanding reputation; they are pillars in the construction industry.  “When the opportunity to purchase RKO became available, I knew right away there would be synergies between our two companies.  Our focus on Real Estate Development and the new addition of our chain of RONA Building Supply stores makes this acquisition a natural fit”, said Adam Barrett President and CEO of Terraine Capital.  “We are excited about the great things RKO currently does and what we can collectively do to take RKO to the next level.  I want to thank Ian and the team on both sides for their professionalism, courtesy and combined effort in making this new partnership a reality”.
