Adam Barrett
President and CEO
Adam Barrett is the founder and sole owner of Terraine Capital. A visionary leader with over two decades of success in both real estate and business development. His career started in real estate as a one-man operation, he now guides a skilled team of over 600 within his group of companies. Adam is committed to perpetual growth while preparing his team for today's challenges and future opportunities.

Greg Smith
COO
Greg Smith brings over 25 years of leadership experience to Terraine, overseeing operations and strategic direction. With a background in operations, marketing, and change management, Greg's dynamic approach has been pivotal in developing leadership teams and driving Terraine’s growth. His previous roles include EVP at Paramount Fine Foods and RVP at Tim Hortons Atlantic Canada.
Adam Baxter
President, L&A Metal Works
Adam Baxter leads L&A Metalworks, focusing on profitability and management within Terraine’s manufacturing division. With an MBA from Saint Mary's University and a decade at J.D. Irving Limited, Adam's operational management expertise is crucial for driving manufacturing excellence at Terraine.
Jay Matheson
General Counsel
Jay is Terraine's General Counsel and provides strategic oversight of legal operations as well as advising the corporate group's executive and senior management teams. Jay brings over a decade of experience providing guidance and advice to businesses and governments across Canada.
Trevor Jewer
Director of Finance
Trevor leads the finance function for the Terraine Group of companies. As a CPA with over 15 years of financial leadership experience spanning across the insurance, real estate, heavy construction, transport & logistics, and IT sectors, Trevor brings a breadth of experience from the finance sector to Terraine, enabling him to have valuable insights at both the strategic and operational levels of Terraine, and ensuring a focus on both growth and efficiency.
Matthew Brennan
Director of Business Development
Matthew Brennan is an accomplished sales leader with over a decade of experience in sales leadership, marketing and supply chain management within Canada’s building materials industry, including his tenure at Greenfiber Canada. Specializing in strategic partnerships and market expansion, he works to unify and engage dynamic partners and industry leaders to drive business growth and enhance Terraine’s network, while fostering long-term, shared success.
Chris Khoury
Director of Property and Tenant Support
Chris Khoury manages Terraine's residential and commercial real estate portfolios; focusing on maintaining high standards and ensuring tenant satisfaction. Joining in 2016 with 15 years of portfolio management experience, Chris's strategic leadership supports Terraine's growth and client engagement.
Liz Kuhn
Director of Real Estate and Human Resources
As the Director of Real Estate and Human Resources at Terraine Capital, Liz specializes in aligning high-level vision with on-the-ground results. She focuses on the critical link between strategic asset management and cultivating strong teams, leading initiatives that foster collaboration across our team and community partners. With an approach rooted in trust, accountability, and clear communication, she effectively manages our real estate portfolio while developing the talent that drives success for investors, tenants, and internal teams alike.
